Ph.D. Candidate
Avraham is a Ph.D. candidate at the Technion’s Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning. With a B.Arch and M.Sc. in Architecture, He specializes in additive manufacturing with natural materials to promote sustainability in the built environment. His research focuses on 3D printing large-scale acoustic architectural components using natural material and bioplastic, developing custom technique to create customization in acoustics comfort. Specializing in additive manufacturing, Avraham develops innovative tool path techniques and fabrication workflows that allow to enhance performance of inferior materials toward architectural standards.
Avraham is also a part of SAY research group, focusing of developing methods for 3d printing wood compounds for architectural scale. Avrham’s works with SAY research group won the design educated award and emerging designers at 2023, along side with notable longlists. Avraham is also a tutor in the faculty and a multidisciplinary artist which exhibited his works around the world.
