Wood

Reclaimed wood waste can be repurposed as a primary filler in 3D printing pastes for Liquid Deposition Modeling. When combined with natural binders, it forms an extrudable composite with rheological properties suitable for controlled deposition. This process enables the fabrication of customized, layer-by-layer structures that not only extend the material’s lifecycle within a circular economy framework but also offer opportunities to tailor mechanical, acoustic, and thermal performance in architectural applications by modulating material composition and printing parameters.
